Perez Mencuri Tumpuan Di Sepang

Woods Bakal Akhiri Kemarau 30 Bulan

- AFP

Wenger Hails 'Dynamic' Gunners

Arsene Wenger hailed a "dynamic performance" after Arsenal cruised to a 3-0 win over Aston Villa which saw them strengthen their grip on third place in the league.
The Gunners made it seven straight league wins to capitalise on Tottenham's goalless draw at Chelsea with first half goals from Kieran Gibbs and Theo Walcott.
Villa regrouped after the break, but rarely threatened, before Mikel Arteta cracked in a fine free-kick in stoppage time as Arsenal coasted to victory.
Wenger said: "I felt it was a very dynamic, fluent performance in the first half with top technical quality.
"It was a controlled performance in the second half, but our fatigue came in a bit because we gave a lot at Everton on Wednesday night.
"We have consistency at the moment, so let's go home and wait for the next game."
Arsenal have now increased their lead over Spurs to three points, with fifth-placed Chelsea now eight behind in the race for guaranteed Champions League football next season.
Wenger, though, is not taking anything for granted.
"At the time [we were 17th] I agree it was a dream to be in third, but what you do is you come in and do your job as well as you can, stay positive and work hard. I was optimistic because the attitude of the players was positive every day.
"We have gone through difficult times, we have learned that nothing is guaranteed and we must keep humility and focus to finish the season in a strong, convincing way."
Wenger added: "In the past month it has turned our way so we have to make sure we keep the momentum. We look to be a team on the up so that is positive.
"We look at the next game and try to win it - that's all we can do."
Walcott's goal on 25 minutes was perfectly executed, the England winger collecting a chipped pass from Alex Song before slotting the ball past Shay Given.
The Cameroon international supplied a similar cross for captain Robin van Persie to net a last-gasp winner at Liverpool.
Wenger said: "I would like to give credit to the pass from Song, because it is not the first time he has done that.
"You do not see many defensive midfielders [do that]. If you look at the assists that he has made this season, you will see that his numbers are top in Europe."
Arsenal had made just one change from the team which won at Everton in midweek, with Gervinho replacing Aaron Ramsey, but were forced into another before kick-off when centre-half Laurent Koscielny could not overcome a knee problem in the warm-up, so Johan Djourou was drafted into the backline.
"He tried in the warm-up, but could not play," Wenger said.
"He came to see me and said he was not sure that he could play with that pain.
"Straight away after the first run he said he could not even move. How bad it is we have to assess that."
Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish felt the early goals his side gave away were "pretty lamentable".
He said: "From our point of view, it was very weak defending.
"At 2-0 down in the second half, we said if we could get a goal back then we could have made Arsenal nervous and we did have a couple of chances.
"But we have to be realistic if people thought we would come here and win."
Villa have an eight-point cushion ahead of the relegation zone, but their next two fixtures are at home to Chelsea and then away at Liverpool.
McLeish said: "There are a few teams who have less points than us, but we need to get ourselves a bit further up the table.
"We have a game next week and have to be positive.
"We have got to concentrate on the glass being half full rather than half empty."

City Held; Wigan Upset Liverpool

Manchester City returned to the top of the Barclays Premier League, but they were not able to get the result they wanted at Stoke.
Roberto Mancini`s men had to settle for a point in a 1-1 draw, meaning they shade Manchester United on goal difference. Their bitter rivals, though, have a game in hand.
A defeat had looked to be on the cards at one point when Peter Crouch put Stoke ahead with a goal of the season contender. He flicked the ball up out wide, some 25 yards from goal, and arched a wonderful volley over a helpless Joe Hart.
But City hit back in equally spectacular fashion, with Yaya Toure levelling from a similar distance.
Below them, Arsenal tightened their grip on third place as goals from Kieran Gibbs, Theo Walcott and Mikel Arteta earned the Gunners a seventh straight league victory over Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium.
Gervinho slipped a pass through to Gibbs after 15 minutes and the full-back found space in the box to squirm a shot under Villa goalkeeper Shay Given at his near post for his first ever Premier League goal. Walcott added the second with a calm finish after he got on the end of Alex Song's lofted through-ball and Arteta scored a late third to extend their advantage over bitter rivals Spurs to three points.
Tottenham maintained their five-point lead over Chelsea in the race for the fourth Champions League place after a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge.
Blues midfielder Juan Mata came the closest to earning his side a fifth straight home win in all competitions with a free-kick which struck the post, but Rafael van der Vaart, Emmanuel Adebayor and Gareth Bale all had chances to score for Spurs.
Bolton ended an emotional week on a high as they secured a 2-1 win over fellow strugglersBlackburn which lifted them out of the bottom three.
Wanderers, playing their first match since Fabrice Muamba suffered a cardiac arrest at Tottenham last weekend, led thanks to a brace of headers from David Wheater. The former Middlesbrough man steered in the first from a Martin Petrov cross in the 28th minute and then met Ryo Miyaichi's corner seven minutes later. Steven Nzonzi pulled one back for Rovers (66) who applied late pressure but could not find an equaliser.
Wolves' woes continued as they let a 1-0 lead slip to lose 2-1 at Norwich, their fourth defeat in a row.
Matt Jarvis' goal was quickly cancelled out by Grant Holt, who raced clear of the visitors' defence, lifted the ball over goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey and headed home. Holt took his league tally to 12 by scoring a penalty just before the break after Wes Hoolahan's shot hit the arm of Eggert Jonsson, but the big striker's day ended badly after he was sent off.
Wolves are now three adrift at the bottom after Wigan won 2-1 at Liverpool, who have now won only one of their last seven league games.
Shaun Maloney calmly converted a penalty on the half-hour mark following a high challenge by Martin Skrtel on Victor Moses.
The Reds drew level as Luis Suarez fired home Steven Gerrard's square pass early in the second half, before the Uruguayan had a second disallowed for an apparent handball. However, Wigan regained their lead when Gary Caldwell applied a cool finish after James McCarthy's shot broke to him in the box.
QPR, who also took three points off Liverpool in midweek, dropped back into the bottom three following a 3-1 defeat at Sunderland.
Nicklas Bendtner headed home James McClean's left-wing cross in the first half and the Republic of Ireland international scored a deflected second with 20 minutes to go. Stephane Sessegnon marked his return from suspension by tapping in a third and Taye Taiwo's free-kick was mere consolation for Rangers, who had Djibril Cisse sent off in the 54th minute for a dangerous challenge on Fraizer Campbell.
Everton ended Swansea's three-match winning streak with a 2-0 win at the Liberty Stadium. Leighton Baines' curling left-foot free-kick proved too good for Michel Vorm (59) and Nikica Jelavic added a second from Marouane Fellaini's cutback.

Real Madrid 5-1 Real Sociedad

Real Madrid got back to winning ways as they comfortably brushed aside Real Sociedad thanks to two goals each from Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The league leaders had dropped points at home to Malaga and away at Villarreal in the past six days, but any lingering doubts from those games were extinguished within seven minutes as Gonzalo Higuain swept home Benzema's pass.
Ronaldo made it two just after the half hour as he latched onto Kaka's through ball to calmly slot past Claudio Bravo for his 100th La Liga goal, and Benzema added a third with a wonderful lob over Bravo five minutes before the break.
Xabi Prieto's deflected effort pulled a goal back for the visitors a minute later.
But Real continued to dominate and Benzema and Ronaldo doubled their tallies after the break thanks to more great build-up play from Sami Khedira and Higuain respectively.
Barcelona's 2-0 win at Mallorca had temporarily cut Madrid's lead to three points before kick-off but they were never in any danger of failing to win for the third time in a week after Higuain had expertly guided Benzema's pass into the bottom corner from just outside the area.
The Frenchman just could not stretch to turn home Higuain's excellent cross 10 minutes later before Sociedad had a rare opportunity to equalise as Antoine Griezmann's shot was deflected into Imanol Aggiretxe's path, but the striker's poor touch took him wide and Iker Casillas was able to comfortably turn his shot behind.
Ronaldo then passed up two glorious opportunities as he shot straight at Bravo when one-on-one with the keeper and headed wide Sergio Ramos' cross when unmarked only a few yards from goal.
But the Portuguese did not have to wait long to find the net as Kaka's defence-splitting pass put him in the clear again and this time he showed more composure to slot the ball into the corner of Bravo's net.
Benzema scored a brilliant third eight minutes later as he controlled Xabi Alonso's ball over the top before weighting his lobbed finish over Bravo to perfection.
Straight from the kick-off, though, Sociedad got a goal back as Prieto's fierce shot from outside the box was helped past Casillas via a deflection off Ramos.
It took Real only three minutes into the second period to restore their three-goal cushion as Benzema was played in by another fine pass, this time from Sami Khedira, and he rattled the ball past Bravo to take is tally to 20 for the season.
Seven minutes later the hosts had their fifth as the Sociedad defence was again undone by a long ball out from the back and Higuain squared for Ronaldo to tap home is second of the night and his 101st in the competition from just 92 games.
Antonine Griezmann should have pulled another goal back for Sociedad but his weak header was easily saved by Casillas before Raphael Varane's header was cleared off the line to deny Real a sixth.
And a comfortable evening for the hosts was rounded off when they were even able to withdraw Ronaldo and Benzema early to rest them ahead of the first-leg of their Champions League tie with APOEL Nicosia on Tuesday.

Hamilton Grabs Pole For Malaysian GP

Lewis Hamilton again spearheaded an all-McLaren front row on the day Michael Schumacher secured his best grid position for five and a half years.
After securing pole last week in Australia, Hamilton made it two in a row for the first time since September 2009 by grabbing top spot for Sunday's race.
The 27-year-old finished 0.149secs ahead of team-mate Jenson Button as they repeated their one-two from Melbourne's Albert Park, Hamilton clocking a lap of one minute 36.219secs.
Lining up directly behind them, though, is seven-times champion Schumacher in third in his Mercedes as the 43-year-old rolled back the years.
The last time Schumacher was so high on the grid was during his final days of his first Formula One career with Ferrari when he qualified second in the Japanese Grand Prix in October 2006.
Mark Webber grabbed fourth in his Red Bull, again finishing ahead of team-mate and reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel as the 24-year-old repeated his sixth place from Melbourne.
Vettel, however, will move up to fifth as Kimi Raikkonen will drop five places to 10th after the gearbox in his Lotus was changed overnight.
Team-mate Romain Grosjean now starts sixth, with Mercedes' Nico Rosberg seventh and Fernando Alonso in his Ferrari eighth, with Sauber's Sergio Perez ninth.
Williams' Pastor Maldonado starts 11th ahead of Felipe Massa who, for the second successive race, missed out on a place in the top 10, this time by a quarter of a second.
Bruno Senna lines up 13th in his Williams, followed by Paul di Resta for Force India, the Scot just 13 thousandths of a second ahead of team-mate Nico Hulkenberg in 16th.
Toro Rosso's Daniel Ricciardo finds himself sandwiched between the Force India pair in 15th, with Sauber's Kamui Kobayashi down in 17th and comprehensively thrashed by team-mate Perez.
After qualifying a superb 11th on his debut for Toro Rosso a week ago in Australia, it was back down to earth with a bump for Jean- Eric Vergne.
On this occasion the Frenchman failed to make it out of Q1 and will start 18th, finishing a considerable distance of almost 0.6secs off a spot in the second session.
Although Heikki Kovalainen qualified 19th, the Finn will drop to the back of the grid courtesy of a five-place penalty.
That was imposed after last Sunday's race at Melbourne's Albert Park for overtaking Vettel during the safety car period.
Caterham team-mate Vitaly Petrov will now occupy 19th, followed by the Marussia duo of Timo Glock and Charles Pic.
After failing to qualify last week, HRT pair Pedro de la Rosa and Narain Karthikeyan both fell within the 107% rule - the latter by 0.391secs - and so will start on Sunday.

Jaringan Lewat Cristiano Ronaldo Bantu Real Madrid Tewaskan Real Betis 3-2

Skor seri membuat perlawanan berjalan semakin sengit.

Sayang, keunggulan "El Real" hanya bertahan tiga minit, setelah Iker Casillas gagal membendung tendangan Jefferson Montero.

Kedudukan seri membuat permainan semakin rancak. Kedua-dua pasukan silih berganti melepaskan ancaman.
